Our Club

Founded in 2006, Legacy Diving at Oakland University has become a nationally recognized diving club, with year-round training programs offering professional coaching to our members comprised of varying ages and abilities.

Our team is a competitive USA Diving Club. We provide a great opportunity for boys and girls ages 6-18 to develop their own skills along with team work, camaraderie, goal setting and athletic excellence. Our pool is equipped with two 1M & two 3M boards, a 5M platform, training belts, trampoline practice & strength conditioning.

Each year our divers compete in over 10 sanctioned meets, at local, regional and national levels. Our program provides 3 training groups with practices held weekly at Oakland University Natatorium in Rochester Hills, Michigan led by Head Coach Larry Albright.

Our Mission

Our mission is to have a productive and positive experience for the kids, parents and coaching staff as we promote the sport of diving within a safe and positive environment. Our main objective is to teach the proper mechanics and techniques of diving, which is an essential foundation and progression to success in the sport of diving.

We are looking forward to seeing your children grow with Legacy Diving. We hope along the journey we can leave our imprint on the sport of diving, thus the name of our club, Legacy Diving!
